 Invented Here! - 2010

Celebrating New England's Breakthrough Inventions & Inventors

2010 marked the first year of the Invented Here! program.  More than 70 nominations were received, and a team of six member patent attorneys from the Boston Patent Law Association reviewed each of the nominations before 12 finalists were selected.  From the 12 finalists, a selection committee comprised of an elite team of 21 leaders in business, law, technology, and academia selected three honorees.  The program culminated in an evening at the Museum of Science where all 12 finalists were recognized for their significant innovations, and the three honorees were announced.

The Honorees

The Invented Here! honorees were named at the event held on February 15, 2011.  The three honorees were selected from a group of 12 finalists.  Each was given a custom-framed award.  In addition, each invention was to be featured in various exhibits and programs at the Museum of Science, including special Current Science & Technology presentations and in the planned What is Technology? exhibit.  Inventors may also have had the opportunity to make public presentations at the Museum through special lectures and programs.
