Global Patent Strategy: What You Need to Know About Europe

Lunch Seminar @ Mass Innovation Labs sponsored by BPLA Patent Law Committee

In this lunch seminar, two European patent litigators, Liz Cohen and Dom Adair (partners at Bristows LLP in London), will cover some key legal updates from Europe of which every IP-minded professional should be aware, with a particular emphasis on life sciences cases. Topics will include:

·       The reinvention of the UK as a patent litigation forum in a post-Brexit world

·       Data or no data? Europe’s obsession with plausibility and the avoidance of speculative patent claiming

·       Slash & burn: how the English courts are allowing biosimilars to cut through patent thickets

·       And more...

Mass Innovation Labs is located at 675 W Kendall St, Cambridge, MA 02142. This event is free and open to attend for BPLA members and Mass Innovation Labs’ companies only. In-house legal counsel are encouraged to attend. Space is limited – register early. For additional information, contact Konstantin Linnik at
