BPLA Computer Law Committee Presents:

Open Source Software Licenses: Cutting Through the Open Source Thicket

Thursday, May 11th, 2017

8:30 AM - 9:30 AM

600 Atlantic Avenue, 23rd Floor

Boston, MA 02210

Open source software has become a vital piece of most technology businesses, but understanding the thicket of over fifty commonly-used licenses can be a nightmare for technology lawyers.  Justin Colannino will cut through the thicket by discussing the types of commonly used licenses, how to comply with them, and simple best practices for using open source.  This is a brown-bag breakfast; coffee will be provided.
