 Making Connections in Boston's IP Community

This annual Boston Patent Law Association (BPLA) event at District Hall in Boston’s Innovation District combines panels of intellectual property (IP) lawyers who practice in a variety of law firm and in-house settings. Panelists will discuss the nature of their practice and their career paths followed by a networking reception with connection stations hosted by Boston area IP law firms and in-house offices.

Who Should Attend?  Law students, recent law school graduates, STEM students and others interested in careers in IP law. 

 

5:00 – 6:30 PM, District Hall Assembly rooms, two concurrent panels:


“Practicing Patent Law”  

Pathways to practice as a patent lawyer in various settings: small patent-focused firm, larger IP firm, department in large general practice firm, and in-house department.

Reception-only registration for 2-3 firm personnel 
The sooner your organization signs up as a sponsor, the sooner your name and logo will appear in the announcement at BPLA’s website.  Admission to the event is free, but space is limited so pre-registration is required for panels and reception.
