October 31 Half-Day Seminar – Madrid International Trademark System


This half-day educational seminar is designed for trademark attorneys, administrators, and paralegals, among others, who are interested in learning about or refreshing their knowledge of the Madrid International Trademark System.  The seminar will address Madrid practices and procedures, including advanced topics and current updates in international trademark practice and be presented by Nadine H. Jacobson of Fross Zelnick Lehrman & Zissu, P.C. 


The Participants will be presented with real-world trademark IR issues to work on and solve together in teams. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops.

November 1 Full-Day Seminar – Patent Cooperation Treaty

This full-day educational seminar is designed for patent attorneys, agents, administrators, and paralegals, among others, who are interested in learning about or refreshing their knowledge of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).  The seminar will examine PCT rules and practices, including the latest updates and their strategic implications, and will be presented by Mr. Matthias Reischle-ParkDeputy Director of the PCT Legal and User Relations Division at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

  • Choice of receiving office and international search authority
  • Best practices for e-filing and correcting defects
