Come join the BPLA for a special morning of panels giving insights on technical inventions in European patent practice. 
Speakers include a delegation of senior European patent examiners led by Miguel Domingo Vecchioni, who is one of the drafters of the upcoming European Patent Office guidelines on Computer Implemented Inventions; and two American practitioners from Ropes & Gray, whose practice includes substantial focus on Europe, including European oppositions.

Albert Keyack, the European Patent Office’s Attaché to the United States, will moderate the event.

Miguel Domingo Vecchioni, who is one of the drafters of the European Patent Office Guidelines on Computer Implemented Inventions (CII) and is an expert on European case law in relation to CII, will be accompanied by a delegation of Senior European Patent Examiners.  Mr Domingo Vecchioni and colleague, Justin Woods, will discuss the patentability  of Computer Implemented Inventions in Europe with a focus on recent developments.
